Default Music Log.

I've found that music is really a huge push for me at the gym. During my 30 minutes eliptical I used to torture myself with the radio station the gym I use's morning DJ. Just horrible. I went out and picked up a sony minidisk mp3 player and proceeded to start to build my own workout collection. I'd love to see a list from those who do the same of what high energy music you are playing while you do your work outs.

So.. starting out today 12/18

1, Mortal Kombat Movie theme
2, You shook me all night long, AC/DC
3, Get Ready for this, 2 Unlimited
4, Living la vida loca, Ricky Martin
5, Rag Doll, Aerosmith
6, Party Hard, Andrew W.K
7, The Fever, Garth Brooks
8, Control, Puddle of Mud
9, Phanton of the Opera Technomix.

Thats all I got through on the work out today but here are the other tracks that where on the disc
10, I want you to want me, Cheap Trick
11, Tubthumping, Chumbawumba
12, Jimmy Olson Blues, Spin Doctors
13, Alternative Poka, Wierd Al Yankovic

So.. I showed you mine how about you show me yours.

I'm thinking of swapping out Rag Doll with some other Aerosmith tune.. any suggestions?

Thanks for looking

CJ

I don't have a list....but what a great idea! I've been reading while I do my bike....but would love something when I do my weights.

Thanks for the idea....when I get a list I'll post it.

Hey thanks for the reply alex.. I'm ashamed to say I don't recognise half the songs you have posted.

Die another day does kick but They played the video for it on the gym tv the other morning.. very very cool video.

Don't be ashamed. A lot of them are songs from Spain. "Aisha" is from Morrocco (I think) and "Moi... Lolita" is from France. "Baila Morena" is from Italy.

It's what you get when you are at an international school.

Hello,

I'm a newbie, but I would like to tell you about my kind of music...

I like to work out to something strong, groups like...

Disturbed
Audioslave
Papa Roach...

Or definatly dance and Techno music...anything that gets me pumping just a little bit harder...

Just passing by and putting my 2cents

A good suggestion Sue. Welcome to the thread. Perhaps for the start of the work out.

I changed around my mini disc a bit and I'll be posting the new version some time this evening.

Do you have a set list for your work out?

Smile Workout Music on my MP3 Player

I always listen to music when I work out and run. I find that the beat of disco music is particularly uplifting. Some of the music I have I currently have on my player includes the following:

Sin City - Dixie Chicks
Love Rollercoaster - ?
Livin' la Vida Loca - Ricky Martin
It's Raining Men - ?
Foggy Mountain Breakdown - Earl Scruggs
Fill Her Up - Sting
Macho Man - Village People
T-R-O-U-B-L-E - Travis Tritt
I Will Survive - Gloria Gaynor
Shake Your Booty - KC and the Sunshine Band
Play That Funky Music - ?

These songs are all pretty fast and upbeat so I also include some slower ones to warm up and cool down by.

I do my cardio (45min. on elleptical machine, so you know I need good pumping music... ) and my weight while listening to it. My husband got me a MP'3 player for Christmas and I've got to tell you ladies it's a great thing to have!....

BTW have you tried typing while holding a 9 month old baby? that's a great work out in it's self.....
