What medications can cause a stall?
Hello everyone,
I'm doing my best on my low carb diet and haven't cheated. I lost a stack of weight earlier in the year (30+ lbs) and have lost a further stack on Low Carb to bring me to 46 lbs lost overall this year, which is great! I really want to get to 50 lbs by Christmas.... But for at least two weeks now my weight has stayed the same or fluctuated a little up and down, despite my ketostix reading purple every day. I am wondering if my medications are causing the stall?
I'm on co-codamol, tramadol, diclofenac and amytriptyline every day - all for pain in my knees relating to running earlier in the year (hence the earlier weight-loss). I think I will need knee-replacements in the near future...
Do these meds cause stalls? Any other thoughts that could help me?
Many thanks all.
Kenny
