Default Will Jello set faster if you freeze it?

I made some jello and I want some now instead of tomorrow. Will it set faster if I stuck it in the freezer?

I suppose it doesnt help that I made a double batch either.

Yep, it does 'jell' faster in the freezer but keep checking to make sure it doesn't freeze.

If you're making a 4 serving package, pour 1/2 cup of boiling water over the Jell-o and stir until dissolved. Then stir in 1 1/2 cups of ice cold water. Let it set in a shalow container with lots of area and it will set in about an hour.

I make it with knox and koolaid so what I do is take 2 cups cold water and spirnkle 2 packets of knox then boil water add the koolaid and splenda to the hot water and then pour and stir on top of the gelatin.

Should I use colder water? of put the gelatin on 1 cup of ice water and then after I pour in the hot water add a cup of ice?

On the box of Jell-O, you'll find their "speed set" method. This is thickened (but not completely set) in 30 minutes. I do it all the time and it's the big (double) box. *Ü*

Sprinkle the Knox over 1/2 cup cold water and let it sit until the gelatin softens.

Heat 1 cup of water to a boil then crumble the softened gelatin into small bits and add to the boiling water. Remove from the heat and stir until it dissolves.

Whisk in 1 cup of warm-ish water then add the remaining 3 1/2 cups water - make sure it's ice cold - and the Kool-aid. Pour it into a wide, shallow container - like a 9 x 13 baking dish - and it should set in an hour or so.
