Neat thread!

My healthy habit goals, Jan 1 to Mar 31:

1. Drink >80oz/day water, with 16oz before each meal.
2. Keep grams/day of protein between “ideal weight” in pounds on the lower end and current weight in pounds on the upper end (+- a few grams). Generally > about 130g/day.
3. Walk > 10,000+ steps/day.
4. Eat 1-3 meals with no snacking in between.
5. Minimize junk food/processed to a taste here and there (goal is zero).
6. Supplement to meet nutrient needs.

I have been on plan the past 3 days except I am not getting enough Calcium (though I want to get that through food rather than supplements).

Day 3 behind me and still on plan. I have not felt the need to make any LC treats as yet - I am still coming off the holiday season where I had a no holds barred approach to treats for a full 2+ months (Canadian Thanksgiving to New Year's Eve). I had difficulty sleeping last night for no reason that I can fathom. I fully expected a weight gain as a result of my lack of sleep, instead my weight stayed the same (that's probably an increase since I expected at least a pound or % of a pound down). In any case, I am still very much focused and motivated. I have not yet had the need to use an off-plan eating day which is ok - but good to know I have built in flexibility. I plan to do my body measurements and document the changes as well. I will do the measurements before I get back to work.

Day 4 of the challenge - Still consisently following through on my 10 point plan. I can hardly believe how much huffing and puffing I do when I am climbing the stairs, my level of unfitness is actually astounding. Finished eating for the day and anything else I consume will be water.

Yesterday was a challenging day for me, second night of not sleeping well, made it rough to push through this challenge.

1) Water, finished my last glass of water while getting into bed.

2) Exercise video was a arms with weights, short but sweet, but done (the sets with the weights up and down behind your head, dang ).

3) Lessons took longer, I did them in 2 sessions, I didn’t want to get frustrated, 2 sessions, although it took longer, was the correct idea.

4) 15 minutes ended up being more like an hour +, but things I had procrastinated doing were finally done.

5) 48 grams is under 50, just. I had 3 meals yesterday, large plate of bacon and eggs, cheeseburger on romaine with my sauce and dill pickle, then a chaffle with thinly sliced tomato, red onion, chicken breast, mayo and romaine.

So was I successful in my day 3 of 90, yes, was it a stellar day, well yes and no.

Onward and downward.

Day 5 - had some sleep troubles last night and a busy day today. I accidentally ended up eating only one meal because I ate so late in the day. However, it was a nice big meal with wholesome goodies cooked by moi and quite filling. It is 10 pm EST and I do not feel even a modicum of hunger. 100% still on plan and motivated to keep the lazer beam focus of this "honeymoon" period while I adapt. So grateful for this good habit workshop and 5 lb challenge because it helps with accountability. Cannot Thank Ms Arielle enough for suggesting that I join right off the bat - it was the right thing to do to jump start my journey!

Still practicising all the good habits 6 days in and being intentional in my meals. Just finished eating for the day so it's going to be water if needed. I've done 3 Litres of water today which is a lot for former Jenn - I struggled to consume enough water. Not much movement today as Saturdays are always a rest day for me.
