Default whipped cream on induction?

Is whipping cream permitted on induction? I'm concerned that, though my Reddi-whip can states <1 g. carbs per serving, when multiplied -- by putting it on coffee or (sugar-free) jello several times a day -- that I am using up quite a bit of carbs.

When I first started low carbing, whipped cream with a little splenda added was my saviour. But I didn't have it several times a day.
I can't remember what was mentioned in the Aitkins book, I lent mine to someone so I can't check but I'm sure it was fine but not too much of it.

I just used heavy whipping cream, whipped it myself with a little vanillia extract and splenda. Induction friendly, and no hidden anything!

The Land-o-Lakes is kind of hard to find. I must look like a pervert or something, buying several containers when I see it.

I really don't like the idea of the Reddi-Wip stuff on induction, since it's sweetened with BOTH sugar and corn syrup. It's convenient, and I suppose if you actually only USE the dinky squirt they call a serving and count the carbs, you could get away with it.

I take leftover whipped cream I make with splenda and a touch of vanilla, and freeze little blobs of it on waxed paper, then put them in a zip-lock bag in the freezer. If I want to pretend I'm drinking cappuchino, I'll top my coffee with a couple of them.

I'll admit, I snack on them too.

Be really, really honest with yourself before you use it on induction. It's way too easy to go overboard. What's the limit for cream on induction... something like 2 fl oz? I use more than that in my coffee every day, so if I were on induction, I'd have blown it just on that.

What a great idea! Now why didn't I think of that?

I used the spray can whipped cream on induction and all during OWL, and it didnt hurt me. All you can do is try it, and see how it afects you.

SF jello topped with whipped cream really helped me thru induction and OWL. Good luck!!!

I love that Land-o-lakes whipped cream in a can but man I have no sense of portion control when I use it so I try not to buy it too often. I need to try that freezing technique, sounds like a good idea!

Whipped cream is ok, depending on who you eat it off of.

OMG, Blitzed Ang, thanks so much for that advice. I didn't know there was a splenda-sweetened whipped topping out there.

niudog, you lucky guy, getting away with regular whipping cream. i totally _love_ it on jello.

kristine -- hey, i measure my cream. 1 tbs. = 1/2 fluid ounce, so a little goes a long way. but you're right -- using whipping cream as 'free' is surely breaking those rules -- adding unecessary carbs/calories.

but -- i love that freezing/capuccino idea! now i can have portion control and fakey capuccino!
