Thumbs up guys look up jj foods online!!!

If you really want to save up money, you can stock up cheaply in this place, you make your order online and then they send it to you, or you go pick it up for free from their wearhouse.
The only thing is that, the meats are frozen, but things are much cheaper when you buy in bulk.

like eg.
water:
Vivat Sparkling Water-12x1.5L Cash & carry price (3.59 GBP) or
Perrier Water Tin-24x330ml Cash & carry price (7.99 GBP)
sausages:
Premiumeat Sausages (8's)-1x4.54kg Cash & carry price (5.59 GBP)
bacon:
Rindless Back Bacon-1x2.27kg Cash & carry (£6.99)
eggs:
Medium Eggs-(Size 3)-1x60 cash & carry (£3.59)
cheese:
Longman Mild Grated Cheddar Cheese-1x2kg (£6.29)
Vittorio's Mild Block Cheddar Cheese-1x5kg (£14.99)
olive oil:
Antica Tradizione Extra Virgin Olive Oil-1x5L (£9.99)

Default Sucralose sweetened fizzy pop

I don't often buy diet pop, but did get from Lidl at Christmas their Diet Cloudy Lemonade, brand name "Freeway", at a ridiculously cheap price.
It is sweetened with just sucralose, so would be Atkins friendly.

This may well have been posted before, but if you like a little something sweet and fizzy to drink but are trying to steer away from the diet sodas, both Sainsburys and Morrisons seem to be selling cheap but delicious sparkling water with "a hint of" flavour.

In both cases, the drinks come in 1 litre bottles and both supermarkets have them on an almost permanent 3 for £1.20 deal - that's 40p per litre.

The flavours are funky (Strawberry & Kiwi; Apple & Elderflower etc) and very nice cold with ice. They are sweetened with Sucralose.

Carb-wise, they range between 0.4 and 0.6g per 250ml - so maximum 2.4g for a one litre bottle.

Highly recommended.

Have you checked the list of ingredients?
I found this info for one of their sausages with the same nutrition info here
http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/groceri...D=1337512456728
Quote:
Pork (95%), Breadcrumbs (Wheatflour, Salt, Yeast), Salt, White Pepper, Dried Onion, Preservative: Sodium Metabisulphite, Nutmeg, Sage, Coriander, Antioxidant: Ascorbic Acid. Filled into natural pork casings.

Meat content 95%.
Most British bangers are made with wheat or other starches as a filler/binder so would not be an induction preferred option for me

Thumbs up nicest burgers EVER

have found the loveliest burgers in Iceland today, 100% beef 0g carbs, 10 for the price of 8 (£2) they are frozen but very tasty, I would recommend doing them in a pan though they tend to really shrink under the grill

Hello, everyone. I am a diabetic low-carber from the US who depends heavily on polyols (xylitol, erythritol) as my main sweeteners. I can't stand stevia (yes, I'm one of THOSE bitter tasters) and prefer to avoid sweeteners like aspartame or sucralose or acesullfame-K or saccharin.

I will be going on a two-or-three-month business trip to Aberdeen (near the airport) in August. Obviously there are issues with carting along a kilo of white powder through security and customs.

Can anyone give me any idea where I can get xylitol etc. in that area? I already know I'm not going to have much luck at Asda. What about Tesco or Boots or a local health food store? Anyone know?

Thanks very much!

At the moment tescos are doing two chive and sour cream dips for £1, my favourite with some salmon or prawns and they also do something they call "superfood", which can be found in their fresh salad department. Its in a small plastic container and is made up of alphalfa shoots, cress and radish shoots (I think??). Its yummy mixed up with the sour cream dip and healthy I guess??! Oh and hardly any carbs!

I bought some Gouda cheese slices from ASDA last week, packaging claims 0 carbs but I thought all cheese had some carb content.

Any thoughts on this ?

I think the carb count is pretty negligible in most cheeses??? I eat lots of it, so I hope so lol!!! I'll have a look in the fridge and see what my packets say - altho most of it comes from ASDA too!!!?
