Default Bugspit's gym log.

Been working out for a while, but now wanted to document it.

30 Minutes on hill climber level on a exercise bike.
Had to leave early because they are recarpeting the fitness center.

Messed around a little w/ bench pressing at home. Usually do weights on
M, W and F, but did a rep w/ 165lbs.

Hi Bugspit. How's it going? I just stopped by to say the name Bugspit is the most unique name I've seen yet. And hey, 165 at your body weight is pretty good.

Take it easy

As much as I wanted to just hang out and watch TV I managed to get off my lazy ass and go to the gym for a while. Feel better afterwards and the guilt was kinda getting to me.

Light cardio tonight........45 minutes on life cycle (hill level 6)

Hi Bug,

Great you started a gym log. I too sometimes want to sit on my tuckass and watch TV so I've now managed to plan my workouts during primetime television. Luckily my Gym is equipped with TV's so I manage to find a machine that will allow me to watch my show and best of all I can get my workout done at the same time.

Kudos for making the effort to workout tonight!

Today I tried to get back on track, I have been sorta slacking off the last week as far as weight lifting and it showed in my perfomance.

Ran/walked 2.25 miles on treadmill before I picked my son up from school, that is the time I usually get my cardio done.

Weights

Bench: 2 sets of 8 at 160 lbs
Milatary Press: 2 sets of 10 at 60 lbs
Curls: 2 sets of 10 at 60 lbs
Tricep extn: 3 sets of 12 at 35 lbs.

Im beat...till tommorow.

Today was a weird day as far as workouts go. I usually get my cardio before my son gets out of school and he walks to the gym and waits for me, but today it was pouring rain so I only got in 25 minutes on the exercise bike before I had to go and pick him up. I really cheated today by eating Mongolian Beef w/ Fried rice and an egg roll and felt guilty about it, so I tucked the boys in tonight and took a 2.5 mile run/walk. I hope I didn't throw my ass out of ketosis.

Mananged to get in 2.5 miles on the threadmill today and even threw in a little 3 percent incline. Got a really good workout, but now the bad news. While benching last Monday I felt something tear and I tried to lift today and the burn is still there. I think I went up in weight to fast and now Im paying the price. I should know better. I am going to take off on Friday and see if everything is ok by Monday. I sure hope so because I like lifting.

Ok Woke up today and cant lift my arm above my head, I definately hurt it either with my bad experience buying a TV at Best Buy or Benching yesterday, might be a combo of both. I did 30 minutes on Life Cycle and tried the stair master thing.....damm that is hard...was burning after 4 minutes so decided for another day.

Late post but I put the date up for yesterday. Didnt go to gym, but instead went snowboading and damm I got a workout. First I was teaching my two boys how to board so I was walking up the hill a few times then I decided to go to top of mountain and board down. It was 2 1/2 miles long and I got a work out. Had to stop half way down and walk the rest, Didnt realize I was that much out of shape, but my legs are really feeling the effects today.

Still sore from snowboarding, but wanted to get back to business after my weekend of cheats.

One arm curls: 3 sets of 12 at 15 lbs.
Dumbell row: 3 sets of 10 at 40lbs
Think I have a torn tricep muscle so I have been working out light.

Threadmill: 1 hour for 3.52 miles

Went golfing today so I counted that towards my walk. Measured it out to 1.49 miles
I miss lifting weights since i think I tore something in my arm, so I did a very light work out. Felt very good to get the blood flowing through my arms and chest.

Bench: 2 sets of 12 at 115lbs
Dumbbell curls: 3 sets of 10 at 20 lbs
Triceps Ext.: 2 sets of 15 at 20lbs.
