The recent breakdown has made me realize how much I depend on this site and I'd like to become a contributing member. Is there any way to do this without using PayPal?

hi Glenda,

It's not necessary to have a PayPal account to make a payment; you can use a credit or debit card . In this case, you make the payment to PayPal, who then "transfer" the payment to Active Low-Carber. The only drawback is that it may take up to 5 business days for this transaction to be completed ... PayPal, of course, will not transfer any funds to us until they've got your $$ first.

I also don't have a PayPal account, but have used this method successfully in the past

Thanks Doreen. I was hoping there would be an address I could mail a cheque to. Actually, we have two business PayPal accounts and, since eBay bought them out and made in against the rules for their vendors to offer any alternate payment methods, I hate PayPal and eBay with a passion!

I'll give it a try without logging in to our account and make the payment through a credit card.

Well, that worked! I see I'm already shown as a contributing member. Now to be sure I remember to renew on Armistice Day every year! Thanks again Doreen.

Thank YOU for your support

Electronic funds transfers are more efficient these days; most of the time the transaction is immediate. But, I always mention the possiblity of a delay "just in case". There are still a few businesses that won't process transactions on weekends, holidays or overnight
