Default Dealing with hypoglycemia

I suffer from Reactive Hypoglycemia, diagnosed with a Oral Glucose Tolerant Test where the lowest registered value has been 39.

For more than a week I have tried to experiment with low carbing rather than many small meals a day.

I hope there are other Reactive Hypoglycemics here, so we can compare our discoveries and deductions:

1) I do far better with three meals a day rather than six of more meals.

2) I can tolerate Intermmitent Fasting (eating from 2 pm to 9 pm) after the first two terrible days my body learned to keep sugar balanced even without eating and I didn't feel hunger or symptoms from skipping breakfast.

3) I can tolerate more carbs as long as they're in the evening meal.
Breakfast and Lunch must be zero carbs except veggies. At dinner I seem to be more carb tolerant but ingesting carbs at breakfast would ruin the whole day for me and I would need to start from scratch the next day to have a chance to clear myself from RH symptoms.

I want to try know to add refeeds to my diet, since I'm active and want to exercise everyday I'm afraid my very low carb diet won't sustain my athletic efforts without refeeds.

Do you think they will play havoc with the balance created by the LC meals or glycogen depletion will allow those carbs to be easily metabolized.

I thought of a scheme like this: 3 days of ketogenic lunches and 2 days of LC dinner, the third dinner is refeed. And I start the cycle again.

I'm also still figuring out when it's the best moment to exercise.
I wonder if other people suffering from RH have found the right moment of the day to be more "exercise tolerant" without symptoms.

Thank you a lot!

Everything you have mentioned is true with me. I just have a protein shake in the morning and wait till lunch time...I have some gymnema and other blood sugar lowering herbs 10-15 min befre eating lunch. then i dont have anything till 7:30 pm and have my dinner meal.

Like you dinner carb load is fine for me whereas if i screw up in the breakfast time then i am doomed for the whole day. At which time whatever guess i make of hypo or hyper i am ...I am almost always wrong and It goes like a roller coaster.

I have meat and veggies for lunch. I will post what i eat and how i feel if you will join me

This is what happening my my hypoglycemia lately.

Let's say I have a rather high-carb dinner like basmati rice and beans and a fruit. The next day I feel ready to eat low carb and I feel very good. So eggs, steak, fatty cheese, hamburgers, sausages, bacons and veggies.

I can go on with this diet for like two days but on the evening of the second day, the low carb diet doesn't seem to work anymore. I feel low energy and hypo, I keep eating cheese, meat or sausages and I don't feel any improvement, I start to very cold and foggy.

I have tried to eat rice, pasta and a fruit and I feel immediately better.
The next day my body again feel ready to eat low carb and again eating this way seems to makes me feel good. Until the evening of the second day.

It seems that my body wants to alternate between high-carb meals and low-carb meals.

In other words I get an high-carb refeed and then I can tolerate few very low-carb days, then I have another carb refeed after few low-carb days and my body seems to tolerate the carbs as well.

Right now I have noticed that I can't have two or more carb refeeds in a row and I have problems with three or more straight low-carb days in a row.

Do you think alternating very low carb eating with carb refeeds might work for my reactive hypoglycemia?
Do you know other people who benefitted from a similar approach?
