Your list might not be showing all messages from the beginning. There's another menu box at the top of the pm list that says "show messages from" .. check to see that it says "from the beginning". Otherwise, you might have messages that are older than 10 days which are still filling up your inbox (or Sent folder) but they don't show on the list.

The surest way to remove ALL messages .. is to put a checkmark in the little box at the top right ... just below the "jump to folder" menu box. This will select every message in that folder, including any that may be hidden. Then click the Delete button at the bottom. Go to the Sent folder and do the same.

I went back and checked again, but there wasn't anything. I've only received 3 msgs since I've been on the board, so I'm not sure what's going on (possessed PM box? LOL).

I checked in the area you said to look and it was empty.

Does the box on the left side called "Show messages from", opposite the box titled "Jump to folder" say "the beginning"?

If it doesn't, change it to that and try deleting again.

It's a VERY good idea to read the sticky at the top of the index page for this forum as it explains many of the forum features. Signatures and posting in the Gallery are also things that come the morning AFTER your 25th post.

were do i go to read read private pms? are they stored somewhere? I got a message pop up saying i had a prvate pm i opened it in a new window like it asked if i wanted to but closed the window by accident before reading it all can i view it again some how?

two ways. First go up to the top of the page where it says, "Welcome North_Guy". Right under that is Private Messages. Click on that.

Second, click on User CP and look to the left hand side. The second heading should say Private Messages. Under that is List Messages.
