I finally made it! I did the one mile evening exercise but didn't do the leg segment as I was very tired. I didn't realize just how out of shape I am. I plan on doing at least WATP Monday, Wed. and Friday. I want to do pilates Tues, Thurs, Sat. Got to get back in shape!

Great job JAnn! If you stick to the routine you set out for yourself, you will definitely get yourself back into shape. I look forward to your posts!

Mile 1: Get Started with a 15 minute mile
Mile 2: Faster pace - a 12 minute mile
Mile 3: BOOSTED walking - a 10 minute mile
Mile 4: Add the firm Band for a big muscle BOOST - 15 minute mile
I completed all 4 miles with the firm band!

I do not have WATP scheduled again until Monday. Since I will be in Hawaii and I will not be taking my laptop, this will be the last time I will be logging my miles until I get back. I will be taking one dvd with me and I will make every effort to remain on schedule while I am away!

I have returned from a wonderful week long vacation in Hawaii. I was able to get three workouts of Walk Slim done while I was away, with a total of 12 miles last week.

Since I worked out all week with the Walk Slim 4 miles dvd, I will be doing the Power Walk 3 miles this week followed by 3 miles of Walk Away Your Waistline next week.

Leslie Sansone, Walk at Home, Walk Slim, Fast & Firm! 4 Really Big Miles.
Mile 1: Get Started with a 15 minute mile
Mile 2: Faster pace - a 12 minute mile
Mile 3: BOOSTED walking - a 10 minute mile
Mile 4: Add the firm Band for a big muscle BOOST - 15 minute mile
I completed all 4 miles without the firm band!
2010: 174 miles!
May goal: 43 miles!
12 out of 43 completed!

and yesterday I began my week with

Leslie Sansone Walk at Home
3 Mile Weight Loss Walk...A "Power Walk" at Home!
Mile 1: 15 minutes of non-stop muscle moving steps to get you started
Mile 2: 12 minutes of speed walking
Mile 3: 15 minutes to continue blasting calories as you burn body fat
I completed all 3 miles!
2010: 174 miles!
May goal: 43 miles!
15 out of 43 completed!

Hey Hoppinn, Ive been doing WATP twice a day.
Walk strong in the mornings and Walk and Kick in the evenings. This will be my fifth straight week of doing both of these but will cut back to 5 xweek starting next week.

You are truly committed to your WOE and exercise regimen. I sure wish some of that could rub off on me!!

Janice,

When I began my weight loss journey, my focus was to become fit and healthy. My husband has always maintained his weight within twenty five pounds and since he sits at a computer all day, he was concerned with both of our activity levels. Since we were both approaching our 50's, he suggested we become active so we would be able to remain active in our golden years.

I did my best to raise our three kids and it was finally time for me to do something about myself. I had my first child twenty five years ago and never did get the extra weight off. Four years later I had my second child, and the following year I had my third. I played the yo-yo dieting game several times before my second child and after my third, but I was never able to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I am still not at my pre-pregnancy weight but I am wearing smaller clothes than I did before I got pregnant the first time.

If I were to begin my weight loss journey all over again, I would not change a thing. I love the way my body is shaping up and I even like the way I look, even though I am still overweight.

I hope you will join me on this thread and begin posting your workouts!
