Goals for January 2 through March 31

1) Stop eating whey protein
2) Avoid all snacking between meals & after dinner
3) Get most of my fat from food (limit the added fats)
4) Basically return to the < 30 net carb, high fiber diet I was doing in 2016.
5) Eat less at dinnertime (Starting February 1)

Met all goals: 58 days
Off Target: 5 days

OP Friday. Logged food. Borderline high on the carbs, but lowest calorie day of the week.

All OP over the weekend. I did not log food, but again I dished up like I was going to. 3 meals each day and portions were good. 10K+ steps each day and one trip to the Y for weight training. A successful weekend.

For some reason I was just not hungry at all! It's been nice.

I hit my carb goal 79/90 times, and nearly all of those misses were around the holidays, when I first started the habit. But since sticking to my other habit (carnivore), counting carbs isn't necessary anymore. Especially since I am now giving up dairy as my replacement habit. I'll be either 0g carbs or trace amounts every day. If I decide to re-introduce dairy, I will seriously consider counting carbs again.

Folks on my carnivore FB page report some pretty great things about giving up dairy, and several of them mentioned that you stop missing it after a while. So that's good. We'll see what it does to me.

Habit 1: Eating Less than 200 calories after 7:00 PM
Exception: Eating Dinner if delayed due to schedule/conflict
Timeline: Dec 7th - March 7th
Days On Track: 88
Days Off Track: 2
12/13, 12/20, 12/27, 1/4, 1/11, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/16, 2/23, 3/2, 3/7

Habit 2: IFing for 12 hours each day.
Exception: None
Timeline: Feb 10th - May 10th

2/16, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23, 3/30, 4/6, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/10

Well, the first habit is completed. 88 Days on track out of 90. Not too bad. I don't snack much at all anymore and this has helped a lot.

IFing has been going well. I'm average 14-16 hours of fasting each day.
The next update will only have the IFing entries. I also realized I started IFing a few days earlier, so I have adjusted that as well. I have a fasting tracking app that I use and it turns out my start date was on Feb 10th, not the 12th. So, that is corrected now.
