Default Yum hot chocolate on a cool morning

Now's the time to break out the hot chocolate:

1 mug of hot water
1 heaping teaspoon cocoa
Davinci syrup of choice (vanilla, caramel, raspberry, etc.)
1 tablespoon of heavy cream

Stir and enjoy.

(When at home I top this with a big squirt of whipped cream from my ISO whipper.)

Warm and satisfying!

Shirley

I've been dying for some hot chocolate. I keep looking at the packets in the store, but they all have too many carbs.

BTW, how well does that ISO whipper work?

this is the exact recipe i use! Also if the store is out of torani, i will sub splenda with a flavor- a cinnamon stick, or an extract (peppermint, orange, almond, etc....).

And i always add a pinch of sea salt- salt brings out the chocolate flavor

Sounds like what I make also.
I use more cream though.

And the pinch of salt is a MUST.
It really is a 'secret' ingredient!!
Takes away that little bitter taste, IMO.
Enjoy!
