Default Heavy cream - confused!

Hi there -

I see that a lot of recipes in the nutrition section, such as the bacon cheeseburger casserole, call for heavy cream. At my grocery store they only have whipping cream, and heavy whipping cream. Is heavy whipping cream the same thing as heavy cream?

Sorry if this is a dumb question!

Thanks,
BigRed

I don't think it's a dumb question, i was confused also. I buy whipping cream 33% fat for recipes and it works fine!

Heavy cream and heavy whipping cream are one and the same. Good luck on your LC journey!!!

The only heavy cream I have found as well is the whipping cream (35%). It is great and tastes fantastic in scrambled eggs or tea. I will never want milk again...
