Default Better health, performance and bodyfat

Hello

Im very active 23year old male and im really interested in health, performance and have a low bodyfat % like 6-8%. Im around 10-12 now i guess.
I have asthma and i really want to get ridd of that. Anyone have experiences with curing the asthma on high fat diet? im currently eating like Jan Kwasniewski so thats high animal fat, anyone eating this way?
I havent bin on high fat for long, maybe 2 weeks and i have to say that my performance is CRAP. I play alot of soccer and im really good but on this high fat im heavy and just so slow.
When it comes to get down and maintaining 6-8% bodyfat do i have to cut calories or will it do by eating high fat and watch protein and carbs?
Ive read alot of articles from Jan K and he says that athletes can eat a bit more protein and a lot of saturated fat to perform.

Anyone here at 6-8% bodyfat and eating this way? would be great with some stories

Basically at 6-8% bodyfat you should not worry too much about how much carbs you consume, as you insulin sensitivity is very high at those digits, however if you want to get leaner you should reduce both your carb intake and calorie intake. A general rule is to not go beyond 100g of carbs while still eating less calories. For optimal performance you can also try carb cycling , which works like a charm by the way. You can also try a low carb diet which will work as well , however your athletical performance will suffer.
Experiment a bit and see how your body reacts, however do not consume a lot of carbs.
