Question Ketosticks

As I haven't officially read any of the LC books, can someone tell me what range/color the stick is supposed to be for optimum benefit? Mine is middle of the road.

Also, check them once a day, right...?

Sorry for the questions. Plan to hit the library this coming week.

Thanks!

Anywhere from trace to moderate. If they are darker, it may be that you are not drinking enough water.

Check them once a day, at the same time every day. Are you Ketostix obesessed right now?

Oh, not at all. I was curious about the process. Just another one of those learning things.

About the only thing about this that's a bit on the obsessive side is the scale... and I swear, I'll ask my hubby to hide it today. Or I'll chuck it out... LOL!

Default My Ketostix findngs

Lately I've been having phenomenal readings from my stix...

I've been consistently for the past 2 weeks in the large dark purple readings... not the very end of the scale, but the second last colour... and I do drink at least 8 glasses of water per day (12 most days)...

Is it bad to have this kind of reading even though I drink all the water? I hope not...

Maybe its because of all the suppliments I take... I don't know...

Here's a list of what I'm taking... maybe someone can shed some light on this for me...

daily:

1000mg Vitamin C
1000mcg Chromium Picolinate
1 Formula Forte Multivitamin
1 cap. Borage oil
1 cap. Salmon oil
1 cap. Flax Seed oil
1 cap. CLA
1 vitamin B50 complex
100mg Alpha Lipoic Acid
100mg CoQ10
500mg L-Carnitine

and a classic ECA stack:
(Effedrine HCL 20 mcg, Caffeiene 250 mg, and a standard size asprin)

Is this too much?

Anybody have any ideas or suggestions?

Spidey

I also got readings of that same color for about a week until I started adding more low carb veggies, but I only take a regular women's multivitamin. I am curious how many carbs do you eat? I have been curious to know if a darker color is better of if just the presence of some color is enough to produce progress?

Dark stix are not better. Any reading above negative is good. Sometimes dark stix is an indication that more water is needed. The rule of thumb for water is at least 64 oz. a day and 8 more ounces for every 25 pounds you want to lose.
