I have a few of the DVD's and have included them in my DVD line up. I did try doing strictly T-Tapp for 15 days and didn't lose the inches as suggested. But, I also wasn't following LC plan either. I like the exercises since they are easy to do and I do get my heart rate up.

Hoedowns can be killers. I would like to know how they did the studies to determine that blood sugars were reduced with doing hoedowns. I suspect that fingers were pricked before and after exercising.

Jandy, great idea with the hoedowns. I will have to see if they count as steps on my Fitbit. Some days I do DVDs that the type of exercises, such as ab work and strength training doesn't count towards "steps". On those days, I march in place or walk around in the basement or take a walk outside.
Yes, T-Tapp exercises were pretty intense for me when I was carrying 180 extra pounds. They qualify more as HIIT because you are activating so much all-body muscle. It's more intense than cardio walking - a different kind of exercise. T-Tapp is more like sprinting and weight training where walking is low intensity endurance. T-Tapp requires glucose burning so you'd fit that in your exercise week accordingly.
And yes, that kind of isometric exercise really does tighten and make muscles more dense. Including good posture and restoring our natural girdle. It sure does take work though!

Seejay, I agree after doing the Walk Away the Inches DVD a while ago. It was only 23 minutes but boy did I work up a sweat and my heartrate was up there too. I logged it as walking 3.0 mph on My Fitness Pal but only shows around 143 cal burned. I think I did more than that!
