How do I add New Year gif inside a post. I have tried and all I get is a link. No picture will come up.
Anyone know what I am doing wrong????

wondering if you ever did figure out how to post a picture inside a post? Becasue I can't figure it out!

Yeah, I guess I did.

I do hope someone explaines it better.
You find a pic you want, copy it's location (right click, click properties, the copy it's location)
then in the post, I go to advanced, click add image, a little box will come up at the top of the page, paste the location of the pic and it should do it.

Where are you getting the pic from?

1-If it's on the net, right click on the pic; select "properties" from the menu that comes up, left click on it.

2- You'll see an address/URL, looks like this: http://blogs.nypost.com/40by40/porterhouse-steak.jpg

3- Use your mouse to highlight the address, then right click, select "copy".

4- Go to your post. Click on the yellow & green box you see at the top of the message box, it'll say "insert image" when you put your cursor on it. left click it, you'll get a popup box, right click in the box, select "paste", the click ok.



Orrrrrrrrr.....

Do steps 1, 2, and 3, but then put your cursor in your message box (where I'm typing now, you know), right click, paste..... then put the following in front of your address: [IMG] and the following after it: [/IMG]

I'm almost certain that would work... but I wonder if there isn't an easier way?

I tried it with a photo I have saved on my computer and it didn't work.
I guess you would have to use something else, something with a URL.
Not sure.

Actually, right after I posted, I went and "sneaked" a peak in your journal, Hayes, hoping someone there helped you. And so I saw Daryl's directions.

Of course after seeing that pic, I now have to go buy myself a big juicy steak!
