I like to party also. THis is truly my downfall. Alot of nights ill start out on miller light, and end the night drinking white russians, or dark beer.

Giving up drinking is the hardest part of the diet. Especially because my bf and friends are heavy drinkers. Every time I tried doing the diet and drinking I'd end up with the drunken munchies and mess up the diet at Whataburger or something. Better just to be the designated driver, even though it's hard! Oh yeah, you DO weigh less after drinking, but only because you're dehydrated. Scale goes back up after the hangover.

So Ive been low carbing for almost 4 weeks now. I havn't had any alchohol since I started. I went out Saturday night, and I know what I am used to drinking and how much I can handel. Well that changed BIG TIME! I had my normal amount of drinks, but a couple of hours later I was sooo sick. It was awful, slept on the bathroom floor hugging the toilet all night. Yucky! Well that turned me off big time. From now on If I feel like drinking Im going to wait a long while in between drinks to make sure it all dosnt hit me at once like it did Saturday night. So be careful to all of you out there. I know I read that tollerance changes but I guess I didn't believe it, had to find out for myself.... well TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. You don't want to be praying to the porcilin god like I was. Thank goodness I wasn't driving and I have a great group of friends who took care of me!
