Hey Bawdy

Here is a link to explain the Idiot Proof Diet. It's a cross between Atkins and PP.

Thanks for the link. Scarlet. I need to register to see anything but the first page, and I don't have the time (or energy) right now. I'm working from home again on Friday, so I'll look into it then.

If only it were easy, huh?

I've been debating about this on another board and I still really truly believe that a stall or even weight gain on LC is not a calorie problem (unless one is eating to 'stuffed' levels which few people do as it's not a comfortable sensation). I think it's a hormone problem; could be sex hormones, could be adrenal gland issues, could be thyroid, all sorts of things.

Diana Schwarzbein and Dr. Barry Groves both state this and to my mind there is something to it.

Lets hope we figure it all out and that we will be skinny minnys soon

I'm with you there. I'm definitely beginning to think that hormones play a bigger role than food. Isn't that weird?

Well, ladies and gent, it looks like this thread is drying up. I think I'll be sticking close to my journal for a while.

Feel free to visit me there, if you like. I've enjoyed all of our discussions, but feel the need to move on.

Thanks for all your support!

Thanks!

Hi

We voted for that carb and protein range but I think you need to eat more fat to get your calories up as 1600 is too low UNLESS you are naturally not feeling hungry.

Well actually do make sure you don't go below 1500 yes. Eat to appetite but do eat. You can sneak the calories in with yummy high fats like avacado, butter and coconut.
