I watched that programme once for about 10 minutes and turned off, i couldn't believe how rude they were, as for what they were wearing well the least said the better.
I really don't care what other people wear and whether it suits them or not, if they like it and feel comfortable then good for them.
Reminds me of a shopping trip last week with my 6 year old daughter it seems toweling has made a come back. There i was standing at these toweling tracksuits thinking oh my god you have to be kidding these were hidious the first time round (still remember in horror the stuff i was forced to wear as a kid) when my daughter begged me to buy her one as she thought they were great, so i did. Who am i to say what she can and cannot wear (though i expect this outlook will come to haunt me when she's in her teens LOL)

Default white socks

I remember when I was thirteen and an usher for my beautiful cousins wedding.

I had rows with my parents all morning about not being able to wear my white socks. At that time they were the only colour socks I would be seen in. If I wore another colour I wouldbe an outcast among friends, I believed.

In the end I let them think that they had won. I went to the wedding in grey socks and then changed about five minutes before behind the church. I got told off but felt so much better.

Now I look at a picture of me at the wedding. I had national health thick rimmed glasses and a pudding style haircut. I am really not sure what damn difference the socks made!!!

Default Not all bad in the 80s

As someone with non-existent shoulders, I did so well when shoulder pads were in - I do wish they would return. But not much else about 80s fashion. I can't get over women wearing clothes that look like they've shrunk in the wash or are two sizes small - with huge expanse of midriff showing, particularly when pregnant - call me old fashioned but...

Trinny and Suzanna - don't let me start cause I can rant for England on this subject - ghastly pair of Sloanes - haven't a clue about fashion, flair, or good taste. I was longing for Jo Brand to tell them to shove their advice and was rather disappointed that she submitted to the ordeal - I guess the money was good.

Default A confession

Lynda

I have to admit something. I still wear white socks whenever I can!!

See, now I have said it. I can now get on with my life without this hanging over me.

Default Thank you

Christine

Forgiveness form you is as good as it gets. Thank you.

Did you see the little bit about Faliraki on the news. I thought it looked perfectly OK and don't think you have much to worry about there.

Is anybody doing anything interesting this weekend?

Tony

What could be more fun for a chap than :-

Fighting ones way around Asda, doing the weekly wash, hovering & dusting , prepare meals & washing up, oh and then there's the ironing too.

Answers please!
