Default Yumm!!

I found beef heart at the store extreamly cheap. As I am trying to conserve money I bought it, with no idea what to do with it. As it was already sliced I couldn't roast it.

What I did was used it in fajitas, marinading it over night in a mix of lime juice and tequila. OMG this is soo good. The heart isn't the least bit tough and the taste is amazing.

For those on induction fajitas, esp homade, are a great dish. I am having mine with LaTortilla, but if you are still on induciton, eat them as a stir fry. I'm having them with sour cream, cheese, and homade guacamole. Many times at Mexican resteraunts that is what I'll order, though I do suspect the possibility of sugars in thier sauces and prefer my homade.

For CAD people fajitas also make a great CM. You may have to choose a marinade that doesn't involve alcohol, but the emat, peppers, and sour cream are all CM friendly.

Fajitas that include a tortilla wouldn't make a very good CM.. they aren't on the allowed list, and the ones I saw have too many total carbs. I'm assuming you mean without it.

Cool!

There's a traditional - Peruvian I think? - dish made with beef heart called Anticuchos. The meat is cubed and marinated with lots of garlic, chilies, cumin and vinegar. It's then skewered and grilled.

Very tasty!
