Has anyone tried the Zero Carb Hot Dog or Hamburger buns made by Controlled Carb Gourmet? I just ordered some yesterday and was wondering if they were yummy or crummy!!

Linkage? I would love to buy something like this! I have been dying to find out what to put a hot dog into. Lettuce just doesn't taste right and I can't loose weight eating the tortillas.

Never Head Of Them. But Like Most Lc Breads, Tortillas, Snack Bars, Etc. I Don't Like The Taste So I Would Not Buy Them. I Have Spent--or Wasted Too Much Money On So Many Nasty Foul Tasting Products That I Give!!! I Can Live Without The Breads--zero Carbs Or Not. Thanks Anyway For The Info.

I can relate to the trying a lot of different low carb breads or other LC products that leave a lot to be desired. But as LC becomes more main stream companies are putting more effort into quality LC products. I don't know how many of you tried the LC pasta that first hit the market...talk about crummy! I have had dream fields LC pasta and I can't tell it from the regular stuff. I have tried the low carb hot dog buns and bread by the makers of roman meal bread (i am pretty sure thats who it was) and they were okay. I found those at the discount bread store. I think it depends a lot on your individual taste. But there are some breads out there I don't think are too bad.

One of the supermarkets in my area as 9g buns which I've used. They taste fine, but they tend to fall apart from the wet ingredients like ketchup.

Let us know how they are!

Yes - they are expensive! $18.75 for 18 rolls. I'll tell you what though ~ if they taste good to me, I'd pay $3 per roll! I miss my hot dog and hamburger rolls even more than the pasta and pizza!! I'll let you guys know how they are. Should have them in the next day or two.

Sure hope they are better than their bagel and bread. The taste was so NOT worth the price.

I just purchased SoLow pumpernickel buns. $4.00 for four buns, so it's not cheap. But they're very delicious. They taste like rye. None of that weird aftertaste either like the Atkins bread.

Well, the zero carb hot dog rolls were not too good. Or should I say not worth the dollar a piece that you pay for them. They're pretty wheaty, dry?? Kind of overpower the hot dog if you know what I mean. Maybe if you loaded all kinds of stuff on it, it wouldn't be so bad? Anyhow, I think I'll stick to the lc tortillas. I know they're tasty!
