Wink Mollymom Learns to Exercise

Well, um, exercise. I think I am on the AADD exercise program...Adult Attention Deficit Disorder program. It is the program that encourages to forget things upstairs and downstairs, in the house and outside the house, so that you are constantly up and down and in and out! For example just tonight:

Go to let dog in, cats get out. Back upstairs.
Downstairs to let the cats in....forget to count noses Upstairs
Downstairs...check for cats, remember to count noses. Think that you need smokes and a drink. Go get the drink...relax it is only diet soda, go back upstairs. Sit down, realize you forgot smokes.
Downstairs to get smokes, upstairs.
Forgot matches...downstairs. Upstairs.
Take out the garbage, come in.
Go out because you forgot to shut the garage door.
Come in
Go back out because you aren't sure you locked the car.
Upstairs..remember you forgot your phone...yup downstairs!
Get phone..upstairs.
Realize you put on a load of laundry two hours ago but forgot to but it in the dryer..down two flights and back up again this time.
Forgot to put in dryer sheets...hey two flights again.
Realize website you wanted to check is scribbled on paper in the kitchen downstairs/upstairs.

MY GOD WHO NEEDS A GYM WHEN YOU CAN HAVE ADD AND WORKOUT FOR FREE.

Speaking of working out for free. I AM NOT JOINING A GYM THIS YEAR...at least not yet. I have tried Goodlife, the Y and Curves. Goodlife...always dirty, treadmills often not working properly, earphone jacks never working. The Y..okay, but haven't been in years, the new one was always to busy but now that I am working halftime, and can go in afternoon should be okay, but not ready yet, so why pay? CURVES>>>BORING BORING BORING....quit after one month thankfully had medical reasons to allow me to get out of payment plan.

Current fitness plan..walk the dog half an hour a day...she needs it too. And of course, follow the ADD plan

Angry F*** it's cold!

Just as I start to get into the swing of walking, we get dumped with a ton of snow and dangerous windchill temps. However, I found out that my "block" is exactly half a mile. I managed two laps myself yesterday and then another lap with the dog last night. Today I tried....full length coat, wool socks, hat, sheepskin mitts etc. again today, but after one lap was frozen! Dog even wanted to come in and she is a husky!

Tomorrow..check out Ironworks gym
