ive been doing induction for about 6 weeks......Think ive hit a stall, ive not really lost anythink in 2ish weeks, is this normal?
how long did you guys stall for and will i just pick up? or is this to short a time to consider it a stall?

Cheers

shely, there are several threads around here about what is and isn't a stall. 2 weeks with no weight loss is not a stall... 2 months without weight loss IS a stall. what's happening to you seems to happen to everyone... a quick "breather" after a few weeks.

if you're truly stalling at this point, you need to re-evaluate what you're eating and what the cheats are doing to you.

I have been doing atkins for 6 wks now. At the beginning of the week i had stoppped losing. I went to the gym and did 30 min cardio and that seemed to kick my metabolism into shape. I really started burning fat and was even able to expand my diet options.

KvonM- not had any cheats since my 2week on atkins, i had like a bit of chocolotate, but regreated it as it gave me a sore tummy. so i wont do that anytime fast. i think what i need to do is go to the gym more regulary. i ride my bike to and from work everyday which is like a mile each way.
and what i do if im really tired is i can't be bothered ro go to the gym BUT lastnite i went and i felt really good and i did everythink properly, so i think maybe muscle ive lost from not doing it as often probaly starting to come back again and that also could be a fact in no "scale change"
Thank you guys for the info, i realise how silly i was being for complaing about no weight loss in 2ish weeks. Im going to start going to the gym again 3 times a week that should help out more.
CHeers again
