We attended a dinner fundraiser last night called "Pops and Pasta" at the high school where DW teaches. This is the big fundraising event for the school music programs.

Sorry that I did take time to post a cheat here.

So, I did eat pasta with red sauce for dinner. We do occasionally eat dreamfields pasta at home, but I rarely eat "regular" pasta out. So I was curious how my blood sugar reading would be. It was in control this morning and in line with the other readings this week. And more surprisingly to me, the scale was kind too.

So while I will not reset my counter, I will not advance it either.

The kid is home from college this weekend too - YAY!

Have a great Saturday everyone!

While I was sans computer yesterday (setting up for a pig roast bbq) I decided to call a cheat for marshmallows and chocolate (graham cracker less s'mores). I actually used the cheat. I did skip the brownies, mac-n-cheese and yeast rolls.

That makes at MOMD #25 now after skipping yesterday.

LOL.. Ok, ok, I GIVE UP... starting on my way towards greater happiness and health tomorrow!!

Here are "my rules"..

My initial set of rules is only going to focus a little on food.. mainly breaking a couple of bad habits.

1. 80oz of water a day
2. Any eating after 8pm has to be very low carb (except Thursday when I eat fajita's while I'm out dancing)
3. Besides dancing.. at least 2 exercise sessions per week with one of them being weight training.
4. Breakfast is free (I can eat what I want)

I know I would lose quicker restarting induction.. but want to focus on these things and see if I can make them habits 1st.

My start date is tomorrow!!

Love you guys.

Mike
