Default OK so I totally got hit on in a bar......
...and not by someone unattractive, by a normal guy! And over my GORGEOUS friend! We went out to see a band on Saturday, and we were heading out to the deck for a minute because it was hot in the bar, and he was standing by the door. When we were on our way back in he said "Hey, are you married?" and I held up my hand to flash my ring....my friend said that she WASN'T, but he looked back at me and said "Damn, you're a cutie!"

What an ego boost, and a motivator! LOL! I can't believe it after the horrific way I looked this past summer that at this point someone would find me attractive, but apparently my efforts are showing and paying off!!! WOO HOO!!!!

I attached a pic of me and my friend from this past Sunday---you can compare it to my "before" pics from last June........UGH!!! (I'm behind her, she is the redhead!)

Thanks everyone. I don't know why it is so hard to take a compliment but I am trying to accept that everyone isn't lying! What is it with us women? We are so critical of ourselves. I guess I still see those summer pictures where I looked terrible, and my mind has to catch up with the truth that I have lost a pretty decent amount of weight, and continue to move in the right direction!!!!

I love this site!!! Don't know what I would do without y'all!!!

Feels amazing doesnt it?!?! When I lost about 30lbs I noticed guys looked at me more for some reason...I guess because after losing 30lbs I carried myself different and with more confidence...that shows!! Keep up the good work!!

lol i dont know if ill ever get to a place where i can accept compliments.
but you should embrace it. you are SUCH a pretty lady.
one of my customers the other day told me that i am getting to be nothing but skin and bones... i just laughed and said "bless your lying heart".... but it did make me wonder if when i KNOW my body has changed if i will still see myself as the fat girl since ive never been anything else..
