Hi Rob, I know I'm repeating myself, but I"M SO DARN HAPPY to see ya around here again!!!!

Mamabeek is a great example of someone who Somersizing has worked really well for.

You can have a protein breakfast. Same as Atkins, bacon and eggs, just no toast or potatoes.

Another interesting breakfast is whole grain bread with non-fat cream cheese or non-fat cottage cheese, because they are considered carbs.

I don't think the low glycemic thing applies, but the veggies are the same as Atkins; nothing starchy.

Fruit is whatever you want.

I agree with Mamabeek that you should read one of Suzanne Somers' books. It is really easy to get the hang of.

Hugs
Sandy

Hi Sandy, Mamabeek and Rob, you both certainly have SS down pretty well. The only thing I saw besides what was stated was (MB) said she had skim milk with her coffee with a pro/fats breakfast. It could have been just a slip up but it should have been cream. I believe that once people understand the combining rules the rest is easy. I think that's what I like about this woe. I don't have to count anything. Just follow the few rules, along with no sugar, no white flour or products thereof, no alcohol and avoid the bananas, potatoes and the funky foods (foods with both pro/fats & carbos). I have a daughter and a son who also SS. My hubby does......he just doesn't know it. He sort of floats between Level one and Level two. Well, I just wanted to jump in here and say that everyone is doing a great job and to keep up the good work. Until later,
