This looks GREAT! Guess what I'm having for lunch today

For those interested in the #'s...I entered the ingredients on Fitday & got this result...

Total Calories 683
Total Fat:49
Total Carb: 8
Total Protein: 53

Deduct approx. 1.5g from carbs for Fiber...so total net carbs for this looks like about 6.5.

You know, this sounds close to the tuna noodle casserole my mom used to make. I bet this would be good over speghetti squash and topped off with cheese. Thanks for posting. I'll have to give it a try.

coolazchic, you say "a can of tuna." Where I'm from, there are three different sizes of cans of tuna that are popular. Can you tell me about what size can (quantity tuna) you're talking about? Thanks!

I bet if this were combined with something like spaghetti squash (where the power of the tuna stuff would override any non-spaghetti taste I expect) it'd be a bit like the tuna casserole my dad's 3rd wife (of 5, LOL) used to make when I was young. I always liked that but I don't think I've had it since I was 12!

giving this recipe a much deserved BUMP! I made this for lunch today and reminded me a lot of Tuna Helper (which I loved back in the day). Very filling, not fishy either.
