Thank you! Yes, sometimes you really have to look for beauty! I am originally from outside of Cleveland..and I agree with you, I like defined seasons as well. I go to Crossville TN in July to take care of my best friend's family's place and animals while they go on vacation - if you are in middle TN I think you probably know where that is! Lovely there.

Thanks! I'm in Clarksville, about 45 minutes north of Nashville by the border with Kentucky. I've been through Crossville (on the way to Knoxville). Ditzy me is always getting Crossville and Cookeville mixed up...I also lived in Columbus, Ohio but that's been a few years ago.

Oh, that is a little ways away from Crossville - I've flown into Nashville and rented a car before. Last year I just flew into Atlanta and drove up with my best friend. Kentucky and Tennessee are so pretty.

Got in a 15 min walk this AM early at work...I got there too early so took some pix - it was starting to sprinkle. Will post them later.

It has been rainy and cloudy today - my kind of weather so I went out at lunch for a 20 min walk. I just couldn't see well enough on my phone camera to catch the buzzard flying overhead at fairly close range being chased by little birds - then another was sitting on a dirt pile nearby too. Drat.
Our neighbor warehouse dwellers across the driveway...they need a bigger playground over there...
