My own favourite Sainsbury's sausages are the Pork & Apple ones but I haven't seen them on the shelves for quite some time now and I daresay the carb count will be higher as a result of the apple bits in it? The Pork and Leek are certainly higher than the Sicilian.

Like you said though Kaheena.... yum yum!

I saw those Pork and Apple sausages as well, thought they sounded absolutely delicious - but on checking seem to remember they were around 6g carbs per 100g (which is 1.5 sausages!!!). So definitely higher than the sicilian and the smokey cajun choices.

I am now happily eating away at the ULTIMATE CHIPOLATAS at just 0.4g per sausage, they are perfect for breakfasts.

Marks and Spencer, Pork Butcher Style.
0.8g carbs for TWO sausages! Not bad eh? Boy are they meaty!

Question Looking for brand names for lc supermarket products

Hello everyone.

This is a great forum. My wallet and I were delighted to find faux bake mix recipes here.

I live in France and will be travelling to the UK soon so I must stock up on the items I can't find here. I hope you can give me names of your favourite brands of lc ketchup (which I REALLY miss) and Splenda grandular (does it come in a can or a box?).

I'm amazed. I just found my local Tesco now carries Xanthan Gum. It is £1.75 for a 112gram jar. Thats very cheap compared to what I pay on-line from Low-carb specialists. Sadly I already have a nearly full bag in the cupboard!
I mostly use it to thicken sauces and salad dressings, so I use about 1/2 teaspoon at a time. At that rate I won't need any more supplies for a long while, so I thought I pass on the news to someone who can't take advantage.
I found it on a shelf in the Organic/Special Diet section.

D'oh! that s/b CAN take advantage!

Sainsbury too? Wow, I was searching for it high and low for ages before buying on-line; then soon as I do, it turns up on the high st!

Hi pillar. If you're visiting the UK, you won't currently find LC ketchup available in shops, it's only available mail order - not sure when Heinz LC is supposed to be released here.

I've only ever got Walden Farms ketchup so far from an internet supplier. I think it tastes good, and I eat loads more ketchup now than I used to - I would have it once every 6 months - a year before, now I have it maybe once or twice a month.

Splenda over here comes in 90g granular glass jar and 100 and 300 plastic tablet clicker size..... you can see pictures at http://www.splenda.co.uk/site/about...da/line_up.html

Talking LC Foods online in the UK! would you like a Toffee?

Low Carb shopping at a very good price. I've just placed an order for £50, and still can't believe how cheap they are… I’m looking forward to receiving my LC Bread, Biscuits, chocolate, sweets, crisps and Toffees!!!!

Default Carbolite bars

Superdrug have Carbolite bars 3 for the price of 2 at the minute and as their quite pricey 99p each for a 28g bar at least its a small saving.
