I know when my hubby and I are doing LC together, we usually split one of the Russel Stover bars. Just enough to satisfy that chocolate hunger. They are so good, that you cant tell them from the real thing. But as you said, if you over indulge...you pay the consequences!

Hummm ... you might try one or two ounces of Baker's chocolate found in the cooking isle-- it comes bittersweet or unsweetened. That would rule out anything in the chocolate. I enjoyed the bittersweet most every morning on OWL along with a banana and grapefruit and still lost *. Most likely its the rotation effect or carbs only in the morning?

* Addendum on breakfast:

I also had one serving of raw peanuts, I believe the reason I still lost 1/2 a pound most days eating like this was the grapefruit juce-- I drank a cup 1st thing in the morning 30 min before breakfast. I know people bash grapefruit # (some studies show it helps) I know for a fact it has an laxative effect. Ask any illeostomy patient.

# Caution on grapefruit it can clash with some perscription meds-- check with a doctor. Lemon juce may also work, but I don't know if its as effective yet.
