Default Feeling very Turtlish, (is that a word?) :)

I have been at 185 for a year now...this summer I worked out like you would not believe. Walking every day, swimming and weights. I did this for 45-60 minutes per day for 11 weeks...I should have lost a ton of weight..nope, not a pound. So today while at the docs, I told him about this, so he did a full thyroid panel. So I am waiting for the results on that. Last year my TSH was on the low end of normal, but still in the normal range, and I do not have any other symptoms of a low thyroid hormone. So I will wait and see what he has to say.

Any good links to look at in the meantime?
I will do some research here, but if you know of some good ones and would like to pass them on, that would be great.

Thank you for this section of the forum. I am sure I will be reading through many of these posts.

Take care

No good links but I do sympathise ! Have you noticed any changes in your body at all? Measurements change, feeling stronger, muscles starting to emerge ..there must be something to show for all your hard work!

Oh yeah, I lost around 6 inches this summer and my legs are feeling good and looking good...and I do feel better overall, so I am happy with my body. I would just love to lose those last bits of weight. I do plan on continuing this school year with more walking, but hoping something will help it out.

I did find the thyroid section, so I plan to do some reading there.
