Hey marcytad, and welcome!

I've been having a busy week in terms of work and it's made me less organized about food than I should've been... but I got myself on track and I'm down another 3lb today. I'm hoping to lose another 15 by Christmas.

Hi Marcy! hahahahaha! saw where you're from, and I just happen to be wearing one of my bar tanks from Sloppy Joes!!!

Morning!

Good on you, tedw for the weight loss!!!!

I went to the grocery store this morning.
I could have gone nuts in the nuts department.
I saw so many good snack nuts, but some little sound in my brain said...'i thought we were losing weight.'
that was it.

that also prompted me to buy some salad stuff and have salads the rest of the week. i hate salads.
i love hearty foods.
all of my meals are substantial foods.
i don't do rabbit food well.
but that little voice said......

and next week is thanksgiving..... and i know i'm going to slip...................
just a little!
a tad!
miniscule.
(i promised myself)

yeah yeah

Question

Can I ask the ladies something? I'm 42 and I realized that I'm not Bi but Gay. I am/was Catholic and now that I go to Christian Church I find I'm not afraid to say this. But Wow. How on earth does someone my age, explain this to others, look for a date, etc? Is there a web site with this kind of info?
Thanks

Happy Hump Day my friends!

Welcome to the newcomers and congrats to our losers!

[QUOTE=lcgrrl2006]Hi Tracy, I believe you can be "nutless" this week

Denise - Absolutely hysterical!

PilotGal - Great resistance (ence?) skills - please send some of your strength to me! LOL!

Lessara - well I didn't come out until I was 32 so I was sorta in the same boat as you when answering people's questions. I just simply didn't know that I was Gay (how dumb is that! LOL!!) and didn't realize it until I fell in love with a woman. It's complicated but I would just say to people that I finally woke up and realized who I was. I wasn't in denial or anything - it just took the "right" woman to bring me out. Does that make sense? That's the story of my life though - always the last person to find out.

have a great day people!

tracy

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Pilotgal: LOL. What year did you go? I probably sold you that shirt or served you your drinks.

Weighed myself this morning and I'm down another pound. Really happy about since I'm in the middle of a stall.

Went to a concert last night and was really proud of myself for not pigging out on Nachos like my girlfriend. Ugh, i wish i was like her, she could eat nothing but junk food for days and would probably LOSE weight.

Hey All,

How is it going, long time I have not come in here and chat, anyway I am back how is the challenge going as well as the holidays.

I am around, I cant say I have been doing much, I know for sure I have not lost a lb as cheating took over once more.

An exciting news though, I am now the owner of a 1988 Honda Accord, std, ac, fully powered, its an old car, but can I tell you, its in excellent condition wth rims I paid US$1,970.00. for it.
Now that I am mobile once more, I wont be so lazy to go the gym, I will have be careful on wasteful spending as I need to ensure I stash away funds to maintain the car, which means less junk foods and shopping at the green grocery to last for the week.

Once more I take this step, to make it low carb free for my first week as of today. If I commit to buying an used car and was successful, it means my next committed goal should be my weight.

Good to hear.... everyone ready for the holidays?
Has anyone begun to do anything?

My son pulled out xmas lights.
Not ready for them to go up! Keep telling him to chill!

My appetite has waned lately.
I'm hoping that it continues, as it makes my portion sizes, much smaller.

I roasted a turkey for the weekend.
Easy to keep protein in my belly, and not need to reach for anything else, when belly is full

Happy Sunday all!
Kiszes.. I just love that name!
