Kiszes,
Glad you are feeling better today....and that you found a gym that you love. I have been going to the community college to work out for a long time. I know the staff and regulars (teachers)...there is something to say of familiarity.
Took a half day off and went kayaking with a friend (from the gym) it was a gorgeous time, but boy am I sore!!!
Tracy & Dragonfly - yay on your workouts!
Rusti - your gourmet sauces sound yummy...I need to broaden my horizons in the food department.
Everyone, keep up the good works!!! Denise

Yesterday, I did 30 minutes cardio on my elliptical machine, triceps with 25 lb. weights, and I worked up to a 215 lb. deadlift, my record so far. I am currently carb-cycling, and feel really good on that.

Sounds like everyone is doing really well. Keep on going!

Hi everyone! I made it through the week w/o wine! Anyway, I thought I'd make a list with %. We can log our percentages in each week for our personal challenge. If anyone has better idea for the list let us know! My challenge for next week is to log all my food in my computer database (lifeform) I quit 6 weeks ago and have gotten really lazy. Also, exercise 3 times this week. It's a new week - Time to make a new commitment to you!! Babysteps. Denise

Going to add another thing to my personal challenge this week: weigh only once on Fridays.

Hope you're feeling better Dragon

I've gone back to throwing down some coconut oil in the mornings.
I haven't had a chance to do my CR (IF) lately..
But will get back to that soon... promising myself, anyways.

Just keeping my carbs and fat VERY low.
All is well with me.

Lcgrrl, I always had the same problem with the wine. Love the wine.
But the wine kept me from losing pounds.
The inches kept coming off, but the lbs didn't.
I finally had to stop buying wine!!!!!!!!!!

I have about 6 bottles of rum in the cabinet, ameratto, peppermint schnapps, and frangelica.. have no desire for any of the sweet things (thank goddess!).

I just know, when I don't drink, the weight comes off effortlessly.
When I drink.... nothing.

Hi Dragon, glad you are feeling better.
Lynne, thanks for the reminder about the wine, guess I should add that to my personal challenge this week as well....it's more difficult than I thought it would be...now that I have banned it from my food plan, I want it even more! hmmmm
I did log my food last night in lifeform and exercised....and didn't have wine. Denise

Hey folks:

How's it going for everyone? My other half is away on business and I'm missing her terribly! We don't work like this!! Anyway - I've been doing well with the exercise thing but I've been eating too many nuts! My goal for this week is to leave the nuts alone! Step away from the nuts!!!!!!

exercise so far this week 100% commitment
food - 85% commitment - hopefully will be better this week.

Denise - you are a wonderful inspiration for this board - thanks for all of your input! Now step away from the wine!! LOL!!!

have a great day folks!

tracy
