Have any of you found that it's any less expensive to buy all these separate components and blend than to just buy Carbquik? Carbquik is kind of expensive but so is all these individual ingredients.

All of us know it's more expensive to eat low-carb than the SAD, and I'm struggling to be as economical as possible and still eat healthy.

This is an ancient thread. Yes eating good, whole foods is more expensive than eating cheap carbs. Sadly our government subsidizes cheap carbs. Not sure where you live, but eggs are still a bargain here. I sometimes make myself bowl muffins with coconut flour (coconut flour, egg, baking powder mixed in a bowl and microwaved until done, about 1.2 minutes). Then I saw it open and slip a fried egg in there and top with mayo and mustard. YUM!

It doesn't matter how ancient a thread is when the information is still relevant. I eat plenty of eggs, but I was asking about flour and baking mix replacements to use in way more than just bowl muffins.
