Default Women Question About Sizes...

Can I Have Some Input On What Weight You Are (or Were) And What Size You Are (or Were) Wearing.

I Was A Size 22w And Weighed 298. Currently I Have not Shopped For Clothes, Only Been Wearing Some Old Clothes I Had From Years Ago.

Sooooooooo I Just Want Like An "idea" Of Weight I Need To Be To Fit A Particular Size. Currently I Am 253 Lbs And I "think" Im A Size 18. Not Too Sure Though....

298 Lbs Size 22w

Height has ALOT to do with it as well. At my heaviest (207), I was a tight 16. I am 5'4"... I know another individual who is wearing a size 10 and weighs 185 -- she's MUCH taller though... I won't be a size 10 until I weight like 150.

I also think I heard once that every 20 lbs is a dress size... so, you've lost 40 lbs which would be 2 dress sizes... puts you at about an 18... didn't check your height though, so I"m just guess-timating...

I am 6' tall and still wearing an 18 at 210lbs. Of course, they are baggy, but 16s are too tight.

223 lbs. and a loose size 18 on bottom and a size 16 on top.(or an x-1x)
I can squeeze on size 16 bottoms, but I have a muffin-top.

At my heaviest (303) I was a size 24w.

I am 5'7.

I wear a size 8 (29) and weigh 160lbs.

I can squeeze into size 6 if they are stretchier jeans.

i'm 5'2", 195, and best guess is a loose 16/tight 14. then again, i have 18's that are snug, 16's that are loose, and 14's that fit perfectly.

clothing size and weight really don't have any correlation. it's so incredibly dependent on your body shape, your height, and the designer. there is NO standardization with women's sizes the way there is with men's. the only way to really find out what size you are is to try the clothes on. i know it sucks, and can be demoralizing at times, but you're far better off finding clothes that fit CORRECTLY than trying to figure out what size you are.

I'm 5'6" and weigh 236 lbs. I wear a size 16/18 - 18 is an easier fit and 16 is a tight fit. (That's how my face looks when I zip the 16's zipper!)

Just last summer I weighed 197 and fit into most 14s (Old Navy clothes are much easier for me to fit into ).

I am 5'10".

At my top weight, 280's, I wore size 26.

At my current weight (174), I wear mostly 12's. Just depends on how cut and how stretchy fabric is. I do NOT like to wear my clothing snug.

I am 5'8", 179 pounds, and usually wear size 16 pants and size 18 tops. But, I'm very apple shaped with almost all of my excess weight in my torso. (If I could go by my hips alone, I'd probably be a size 10.)

So, size varies greatly depending on body shape.

I'm 6'7" and wearing a very loose 18 [wrangler jean] which has me confused because I figure at my weight I should be in 16; yet I've not had the opportunity to try 16's so who knows?
Right now I'm giving the phrase 'carpenter's crack' a whole new meaning...

Where do you carry your weight?

I've tried many suits, outfits, etc where the bottom size was different then the top!

I lost a lot on my upper parts.
