12/31 - 10,387 (been raining most of the day outside so put my rain poncho to good use. felt good.

I have to enjoy the very few times this happens. He is a walking machine and puts up the big numbers daily.

Thank you for recommended this group, Joebob!

I'd like to join. I don't have a pedometer, can anyone recommend one? I sit most of the day, so would be interested to
see how many steps I do take... not many I would think!

I love walking on a treadmill, (I'm weird,) but it takes me a very long time to start again if I miss a day. Went yesterday for the first time and walked four miles. I found a site that converts that to steps- 8448. I'll try to do more tonight.

Hi Faith I've owned a few Fitbits and I really like them, they seem quite accurate. I currently use a Garmin Vivofit. It's good as well just more expensive.
