I just got an email saying that my private messages were full and that a user could not send me a PM... well, the thing is, I go to PM and everything says zero.

Check your Sent Items folder ... a copy of your message gets put there each time you PM someone else, and those copies count as part of your 10-message limit. Just use the drop-down menu on the right-hand side, where it says "Jump to Folder".

That should remedy the problem ... let me know if you're still having troubles after that

well, I went in and it won't let me go in - it says that I am not authorized, blah blah blah....

has my account maybe not been activated or something?

Jeni, I'm sorry I didn't look at your posting stats. Duh!!

Private messaging is activated when you have 25 posts on the boards ... but might not happen right away because the database updates once a day, usually at night.

Sorry if I confused you (and other readers) .. but at least now you know how to keep your PM boxes cleared out for later.
