Being able to bend over and tie my shoe.

Or being able to get my foot up on my leg easily to put a shoe on.

At first, selecting the wrong sized drill bit to put more holes in my belt then after two or three tries being confident about knowing the right size to leave in my drill press because after all, I probably will need to drill another hole again soon.

That reminds me. One thing I love about losing weight is that after a few minutes sitting I realize I'm crossing my legs at the knees like a woman instead of sideways, foot on knee, like a fat guy.

Well it happened again. This one’s not my fault at all. Mostly.

So I’m at the Waffle House enjoying my double delux burger with no cheese, no bun add onions and extra pickles. My young waitress is having trouble adding up my bill and getting help from another waitress. When she gets done I ask, “How long have you been working here?” She tells me since July and starts talking with me. At one point I say “Yes Ma’am” and she laughs says she’s not used to that coming down from up north and I ask “Well don’t you deserve respect?” and that really gets her going. She starts telling me about what high school she went to, school fights, chat, chat, chat. She bring up that she just went up north for a medical exam because she has a blood disorder. I bring up my own blood issues and ask “Are you on Wafarin?” She says no it’s too expensive. I say “Wafarin is cheap.” She says, “Well I have a couple of guys who call me but I'd like to have another.”

WHAT?!!

I couldn’t help laughing. Poor girl. I say “I said Wafarin is cheap!” She laughs at herself and says, “I’m going.”

It’s like living in a different world. Does this happen to other people? It didn’t happen to me 68 pounds ago.

Haha.. .that is funny inflammabl must of felt so good!!!

I say, no for me... But I do notice guys are more "attracted" to the "new" me who is wearing tighter clothes around my large upper region.

Which I am rather enjoying.

I can't wait to get to my goal weight and really go hog wild on my wardrobe! I am counting down the pounds...

14 more I will be at wedding weight... Maybe I will pose in my wedding dress and take a picture for that goal...

Talking Hugging

I was seeing my hubby off because he is going on a trip for a bit.

And I gave him a long loving embrace.

And it is wonderful to have his arms envelop me and double wrap around my body.

It was just so a nice feeling being fully embraced

Lovinita,
Can't wait to see a pic of you in your wedding dress! And woohoo on being fully embraced!
This reminded me that "work hubby" picked me up off the ground last week, while giving me a hug. I haven't had anyone pick me up since I was in the 120's. I used to have random co-workers who seemed to delight in picking me up and spinning me in circles, out of nowhere. Since I had been so heavy most of my adult life, it was (and still is) a totally weird feeling and they always got a squealing reaction out of me, and that's probably why they kept doing it. lol

Hey Livinright,

Wow, that must have been such an awesome feeling to be twirled!!!! So Jealous... I am really happy for you

I can't wait for that to happen for me. Well might not be as light weight as you (goal of 175), so probably no twirling. But my hubby should definitely be able to pick me up off my feet like he use to when he hugged me.

I love the fact most of my work clothes fit me from 9+ years ago. Can't wait to go shopping for new, smaller clothing!

You now I have not said this yet. But I am loving how I look.

And I am loving rediscovering my own body and the pride I have in it.

And the confidence I walk with now.

I am so grateful that I was smart enough to start questioning the ADA and dr. And that I eventually found Dr R Bernstein's plan.

43 years old and I am just starting to wise up some!

LOL
