Go to your food lists page: http://forum.lowcarber.org/myplan.php?&do=favlist and click the check box next to the item you want to delete, then select the Delete option from the drop down list at the bottom.

To find scrambled eggs, just go to the search page:

http://forum.lowcarber.org/myplan.php?&do=advsearch

And type in the search box: scrambled eggs.

When you find an item you want to add, tick on the check box, and select any of the add options at the bottom dropdown list.

Or click on the item, and from the item's nutritional detail page, click on the "add" button.

Just a suggestion re - "scrambled eggs". Beware that the USDA listings for scrambled eggs usually include added milk, and also assume that you used margarine for cooking. It might be better to just use the listing for egg, whole, raw, fresh, then enter separately any fat you may have used, such as real butter or olive oil . If you make your scrambled eggs the same way routinely, you might want to enter the combined total of the eggs + fat as a custom food.

hth,

Doreen

p.s. - sometimes you can get more search results by entering the singular form "egg" instead of plural "eggs". Just a thought

Default How do I delete an entry?

I entered scrambled eggs, then was reading here how they calculate added milk. So, I entered whole, raw;as suggested. However, I cannot determine how to delete the entry from the day's menu.. I zeroed it, so it's not counting, but that didn't make it go away either... Thanks..

Tick on the check box, and select delete from the drop down list at the bottom.

Do you mean we have to go to the main list of foods to delete, not to our custom list? *confused*

If the error is on your daily entry, all you have to do is what Tamarian said....check the box to the right of the item, and then select "delete" from the drop down box. If you want to delete an item from your favorite list, then yeah, you go to your main food list.

Don't feel confused, you'll figure it out!
