Default Losing SSLlowwlllllyyyyyyy......

I am losing about 2 lbs a week, I am not complaining and I am very happy with it for right now, because If i stay on this level of weight loss, I will be able to celebrate my sweet sixteen ~ 126 lbs!!!!!!! I will be so happy if it works.
BUT....I want to know if I am not doing right, thoug, because of the slow two # a week, and not much inches difference. Any suggestions?
I might not be getting enough water because I had a stomach virus for a couple of days and all I could eat was chicken soup andd cranberry juice. I am just a little dissapointed that I am not losing as fast as everyone else.
Does water really make that much of a difference?
Just Wonderin'

I think water makes an incredible difference. There are a lot of positive, healthy attributes to drinking water so drink it!!!

Also, you mentioned juice....are you still drinking that?!?! I know you had the flu and stuff but juice drinking any other time is a no-no. That may be a reason for the stall, to much sugar.

I'm a slow loser to. Everybody reacts differently. Good luck in reaching your goal!

Losing 2 pounds a week is fast weight loss. It is said by some people that it's actually impossible to lose more than 2 pounds of fat in a week if you are female. Larger losses are usually predominately water, or only seen at the beginning of starting a new eating regime.

Some also say that pounds lost and inches lost happen at different times. So if the scale stops moving, look for the inches to start dropping.

Hi and congrats on your progress!

You are doing just fine! After the induction the weight loss will slow down, be prepared for it and just hang on! Trust me, for 3 weeks I was melting (could see the difference on my old jeans) but the scale woudn't move at all.

Better believe it! If you don't dring enough pure water, your body will hold on every possible reserves and retain. Also, eating this way is a natural "water pill" so you can get dehydrated.
All the best, keep going!

OMG, If I were losing 2 pounds a week I'd be in heaven! I'm lucky if I can get to 2 pounds a MONTH!

Hi...you are doing just fine!. However, drinking alot of water is very very helpful. If you retain water easily, drinking alot of water will keep that from happening, therefore letting you lose fat instead of water. Good luck

Your body might still be in "sicky" mode... give it a few more days on track and you'll probably see some difference.

Last time I was sick and could only eat soup, etc. it took a good week to clean out the cold and flu out of my system...

Hang in there...2 pounds a week...I'll take that!!
