Hi All! I've started Atkins diet today. I did it 2 years ago and lost 20 lbs but had some major crises in my life and went off it and gained it all back. Time to try again. I've been doing well today but I'm having major sweet cravings now. Should I go out for a diet soda or succumb to a pastry! Decisions, decisions! Any alternate suggestions? Thanks for all of your help. Judi

Sugar-free jello? Or maybe some protein? I find if I've just eaten, I don't particularly want sweets anymore. But, as I'm sure you know from previous experience, that sweet tooth seems to disappear after some time low carbing anyway.

Welcome to the board!

Rachel

Hi Judy and Welcome

Keep up the supplements twice daily, I found they really helped - also L Glutamine is expensive but definitely gives you a lift. On induction, when desperate I resorted to a handful of pistachios and they really evened it out for me.

Keep it up - the first 2 weeks are the worst, then it gets easy ...

Nicola
