IVE GOT ALL MY FAMILY COMIN FOR TEA IM MAKING LAMB ROAST.IM HAVING LOADS OF LAMB WITH SOME BROCCOLLI BUT THE QUESTION IS CAN I HAVE GRAVY?AND IF SO IS THERE A CERTAIN WAY OF MAKIN IT?
HOW GOOD AM I IM MAKIN A LOVELY CHOC FUDGE CAKE FOR EVERYONE WITH ICE CREAM BUT IM GOIN TO HAVE MY SUGAR FREE JELLY WITH CLOTTED CREAM.

CAN I HAVE GRAVY?

You can have drippings from the roast, adding a bit of heavy cream and boiling to thicen it a bit, but gravy with flour or any kind of starch is a no-no.

clotted cream is a tub of fresh cream which is in a solid block ther are only 2.3 carbs in 100g which seems to be the lowest in all creams ive seen upto now.Pretty sickly if you have to much

Thanks Damsel. I've been reading about clotted cream in a number of posts and yet it's not available in the stores I shop at. It sounds great. I belong to a food co-op and I bought a case of organic cream. It was way too much and had to freeze some. When they thawed, the cream had clotted, making it have a think, bumpy texture. I was wondering if it was the same thing... I could pour off the liquid part and just use the bumpy (clotted) parts. What do you think?

was the cream ok to freeze,it may be of does it smell???
