Angry Saw the doctor this a.m

Despite adding calcium, Magnesium and Potassium supp's I have been getting horrid leg (calf) spasms almost daily. My doc thinks I am just "off" a bit on the electolytes, so we did a bunch of lab tests. He gave me a new course of supplement though. It is a calcium citrate/magnesium combo of 2:1 Calcim to mag. The totals are like 1200 Calcium a dau and 450 magnesium. I hope they do the trick. I have added some carbs in the form of strawberries and extra veggies too. Still at 23 or 26 a day. I want to move up carefully. Thanks for letting me "vent". This pain is nasty!

Shar, those are the correct numbers. Also, potassium, which should be supplemented at 400mg will help make you feel better. Keep your water intake up and hopefully all will right itself shortly. The Magnesium really helps with the cramping, when I started taking it everything calmed down w/in a day.
