Unhappy Don't understand The Zone...help! thanks

Okay, I have the book and everything...I am definitely stupid. My question is: if I have 11 blocks per day, that means that I can divide it amongs all my meals? And, if one block contains 7 grams of proteins, 9 grams of carbs and 3 grams of fat, this means that I'd be having 21 grams of protein throughout the day? Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!

Enter the Zone is the most difficult to understand of all the Zone books (IMO). It gets very scientific.

Yes. You could eat 11 "mini-meals" throughout the day if you wanted. Just be sure to balance each "feeding" with protein, carb and fat.

11 blocks would be:
77g Protein
99g Carb
33g Fat
Remember, there's approx. 1.5g of "hidden" fat in each ounce (block) of lean protein.

I don't know if you learn the same way I do... but I found it helpful to buy some of the cookbooks. By making different meals from the books, I got an idea of what a 'block' looked like for different veggies, and what a 3 block meal would look like.

It's not precise... but it gives you a good idea!

I actually own all of the books (except for Age Free Zone) but that's becaus I work at a bookstore and get them cheap.

MOstly I've been using the Zone cookbooks (100 Zone Foods and the Zone Perfect Meals in Minutes)... but I've brought home a few more to take a look at... I'll let you know how they go.
