can you have low T3 and normal T4?
Hey All,
I did some reading on here last night and discovered that i'm taking synthroid which is T4. I feel like i'm gonna pass out every time I stand up and i'm constsntly sleepy and tired. It has gotten worse since I started the synthroid. Could i possibly have to much T4 and not enough T3. I know T3 is the one that regulates your energy and metabolism. I have several printouts from this board I'm taking with me to the doctor tomorrow. Is their a medicine for T3? Does that sound logical to you, that I'm low on T3 and i'm taking extra T4 which does not turn to T3 like it originally would in the body? Any info please, I'm going to the doctor tomorrow!
Thanks,
kenzy
