Default "Tweaking" the food plan

I am VERY thankful all of you who have talked about needing to "tweak" the SP food plan to fit your body. I reiterate, "Our bodies are all different". My biggest challenge is to keep the cravings/additions from returning.

The Atkin's Diet was a miracle in that I felt that it was the first time in my life that I have not craved sweets. So 8 weeks on Atkins broke my addictions to sweets/carbs and caffeine and I am that far ahead on SP. But I am afraid those cravings will return with the higher carbs of SP2.

I am definitely hungrier! My stomach actually growls and I sure look forward to those snacks!

But so far so good with cravings. I think the main one I have been having is for protein (what a miracle for a carb addict) so I am making sure I get enough protein. Right now I am trying to limit carbs to 15-20 each meal/snack. I MAY try to go a little lower on the snacks.

And Stevia is a saving grace for my sweet tooth. Just a cup of herb tea with a packet of Stevia really is satisfying. Had never used it before.

Hope some of this may be of help to others.

Sincerely,
moi
