Help with exercise routine.
A month ago I increased my exercise from 60 minutes of cardio 3X a week to 60 minutes of high intensity plymetrics mixed in with weigh training 6X a week. At first my weight hit a brick wall and I lost a few inches, but in the past three weeks I have gained weight (3 pounds) and not lost any inches. I am enjoying the hard workouts, but wondering if I should give my body more time to rest in between?
I know the whole spill about tearing muscles, retaining water to repair them, and muscle weighs more than fat. Basically I was wondering if anyone has had this problem, and how long till I start losing again? I know there is never a "magic" answer on this, I just would LOVE your opinions and experiences.
