Well, its my third day of using my plan and i still think its a great program. But for ppl on atkins doing the induction fase it has a problem. It also counts the carbs in meat. Yesterday i ate like 30 carbs counting the meat and on induction only 20 is allowed. The book clealy states how my veggies i can eat and that i can eat meat liberally - and i stay with that to the letter. So i dont really get that. Moving on to owl would actually mean that i could eat LESS or what?
Bacon and ham for instance. I can see now that i have choosen something wrong under chicken. I have choosen it with flour and thats the problem.
But how come there are more carbs in scrambled eggs than in boiled ones? I dont use fat to scramble nor do i add milk.
When chosing eggs, enter in, egg, whole, raw, fresh, and then chose the size of the egg. Chosing scrambled automatically adds in whatever ingredients (such as milk) they used in the nutritional calculation.
Cured meats, such as bacon and ham (and pepperoni and sausages) do have small amounts of carbs depending on the brand and how they are processed.
